Concert to benefit Mission frescoes
ST. IGNATIUS — The Treasure State Chorale, under the direction of its founder, Phil Harris, will bring its “Sounds of the Season” concert to the Saint Ignatius Mission Church on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. The frescoes in this historic church need immediate restoration, and the Chorale would like to help with the massive project. All proceeds from this performance will be given to the Mission. Admission is by your donation to the restoration project. Many can remember the cool temperature in the church last Christmas, but the boiler has been repaired. It is the wish of the Chorale that the sounds of the season will touch your hearts at this special time of year and lead you to give as generously as you can to this critical endeavor to maintain the beauty of such a unique part of Montana’s history.
